Tip #1 – Clickbank.comClickbank.com is a reputable option where you can sell your digital products online. They represent over 12,000 digital product vendors and have over 100,000 active affiliate marketers. Clickbank charges a one-time product activation fee to the seller and affiliate marketers promote the products in exchange for a commission on each sale. Clickbank is a neutral party that manages and administers affiliate programs on behalf of its users.
Spotlight: Making Money with Special Reports'Special Reports' are typically 5-15 pages long and have a very narrow focus or theme. The main difference between a Special Report and an ebook is the amount of information they contain. Their low price point (usually around $10) is a reasonable risk for people who, aside from the online presentation, are often unfamiliar with the quality of the source. You will have far greater sales success if you pre-qualify yourself as an expert first through your website and establish some credibility. Non-fiction ‘how-to’ topics are the most common and successful. Reports can cover any topic of value – recipes, tip sheets, collections of information, quotes, contact or resource lists, website compilations, photo collections, databases, etc. It is becoming more common, particularly with non-fiction topics, for authors to sell their book online by the chapter (with each chapter relabeled as a ‘Special Report’) instead of... continue reading online >>
Tip #2 – Lulu.comLulu.com offers Print On Demand (POD) publishing and distribution services. You can use Lulu to create and sell books, photo books, calendars, CDs and DVDs, ebooks and more. Products can be purchased singularly for personal use or made available for sale via their online storefront or Amazon.com. A sliding scale determines your wholesale price based on volume. Keep an eye on your publishing rights – while it can take a little longer and be a bit more expensive, it’s usually a good idea to supply your own ISBN number vs. having it assigned, if possible.
Tip #3 – Doba.comDoba.com is an online catalogue where you can find products to sell on your website or blog. They offer brand-name products in major categories including computers, consumer electronics, gifts, hobby, sport, books, music, movies, and more. You are responsible for promoting the product and processing the payment from the customer, keeping the difference between the wholesale and retail price. Once payment is made, Doba drop-ships the order directly to your customer without you ever touching it.
Website DevelopmentMany people don’t know how to build a website and can’t afford to spend thousands of dollars on a web designer. But that hasn't stopped them from building a business online. There are a number of good template-based website building systems on the market to choose from. We used Site Build It! to create this website and highly recommend it (it costs $25/month). It is important that the company you select can help you monetize your website and it is a huge benefit if they can also assist you during the research phase. There are many site building tools and templates available included with inexpensive hosting packages. However, while most of these can definitely help you develop a good promotional website, few actually teach you how to build a site designed to generate online income. Pay-per-click options are readily available but it takes an enormous amount of traffic to make any real money and there are much better, faster and more reliable ways to generate income.

Quote of the Month"For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today? And whenever the answer has been No for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something..."
